About Gordon

Biography:
Living in Cologne, Germany, Gordon's passion for music is endless. At the age of seven, he first came in touch with the piano, receiving several years of classical music education as his foundation. He attended the S.A.E. Institute in Cologne and afterwards also completed his degree in Media Design for Picture and Sound (Chamber of Industry and Commerce).
Deeply influenced by the sonic perfection of the Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, and Bruce Swedien era, he developed a sharp ear for visionary audio engineering early on. Groundbreaking milestones like Massive Attack’s Mezzanine, Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, or Debi Nova’s 3:33 album shaped his fascination for extraordinary soundscapes.
Following his time as a Composer & Mixing Engineer and working on productions for Picture & Sound, TV & Radio, he decided to build an uncompromising High-End Mastering Studio in Cologne – located inside the legendary former EMI studio complex at today's Maarweg Studiohouse.
